Sandlot Field
In short
Map 1 of 5 and always unlocked. “Short porches. A good place to start.” No wind, normal gravity, no batter penalty. Its special ball is the friendly one: $$$ balls on any pitch, 1 in 6, that pay bonus coins on a home run.
How it works
- Unlock: first in
db.ballparks, so it is open from the start. Beating it on Medium opens Farmyard. - Environment: clear-day sky, mowed grass, a padded wall, a full stadium with a thin crowd.
- Special ball:
Ball(BallEffect.Money, 1f / 6f)with no pitch ids, so every pitch type can carry it. A home run off a - Targets: two landing zones past the wall, each with a pole marker (it is a stadium). A home run landing inside one multiplies its distance score. See Scoring.
- Pitchers: the shared pool for innings 1 to 8. Final boss:
sandlot.finalBossId = "benny", so inning 9 is always BOSS: Backyard Benny (only here). His own ball is the Wiffle, any pitch, 1 in 4: it drifts sideways up to about 0.39 m by 65% of the flight, then swerves hard back onto its spot at the plate. It stacks with the park’s $$$ ball. See Pitchers and Bosses. - The Batting Cage starts on this park (index 0).

Gotchas
- Hard inning 2 sits on a rounding tie: 500 x 1.25 x 1.9 = 1187.5.
1.9fis a hair under 1.9, but the single-precision product 625 x 1.9f still rounds to exactly 1187.5, sogoal / 25fis exactly 47.5.RunState.InningGoalthen doesMathf.RoundToInt(47.5) * 25;RoundToIntrounds halves to even (48), so the goal is 1200. It is the only exact tie in any park’s goal table. - The Treehouse is closer than the left-field wall would suggest because the wall at -35° is only about 313 ft.
